Synopsis The modern world is greatly dependent on new and new knowledge. Old theories of knowledge are changing fastly and are being replaced by new theories and practices. The societies which are investing money in the generation of new knowledge are most likely to survive in the future. These societies which have lower levels of knowledge at their command are likely to become dependent on the more knowledgeable societies.
