Synopsis This book "Advances in Stress Physiology of Plants" has been published with an aim to give some insight into the field of stress physiology of plants. Attempts have been made to highlight different abiotic stresses like water, salt, heavy metals etc. and their effects on plants’ physiological and biochemical alterations. Some efforts have also been taken to discuss oxidative stress, its effects and possible protection in plant cells.
