Synopsis It covers almost all important aspects relating to technical, commercial, financial, economic and management appraisal of projects. Various check-lists have been given at appropriate places to judge viability of a project. A case study has been given to demonstrate the methods of preparing financial projections and calculating ratios, break-even point, internal rate of return, cost of capital and domestic resources cost. This can be used as a specimen for similar calculations to be done while appraising the proposals for financial assistance.
