Synopsis A test performed at a clinic is more reliable than a home pregnancy text. A lot of clinics do a urine test first simply because it is easier and cheaper but sometimes they may elect to do a blood test for pregnancy. The blood test is usually done if there are questions about the validity of the urine pregnancy test or if the doctor needs to check a level of pregnancy hormone. Some of the changes that take place in the expectant mother and demand the need to make nutritional adjustments are-Fat and energy, protein, minerals, iron, vitamin A etc. At first a baby will pass water or a motion indiscriminately and very frequently, but if you hold him out at a certain times, you may be able to reduce the number of napkins he soils daily. On waking up after a sleep a baby will often pass water, so you may find it repays you if you make a habit of lifting him when he wakes and placing him gently on the pot.
