Synopsis Fungi are a kingdom of Eukaryotic Organisms. The fungi are heterotrophic organisms characterised by a chintinous cell wall, and in majority of species, filamentous growth as multicellular hyphae forming a mycelium; while some fungal species grow as single cell.
