Synopsis In a developing country like India worker is centre of all activities in Industrial sector. Liberalisation, privatisation and globalisation is technology centric. In tune with the globalisation process, the knowledge and skills levels of the workers need to be improved. This study provides some insights into the Workers' Education Programme and its impact on worker. It also throws light on the various policy initiatives and programmes related to workers' education.
