Synopsis This book describes various cancers and the allopathic (traditional medicine) and the homeopathic (alternate medicine) treatments for them. Homeopathy is a form of internal medicine that was once very prevalent in the United States. It is practiced by licensed MD's who finish their orthodox training and then take additional training under a licensed homeopath, and may earn the further title of D.Ht. or H.M.D. At one time about 25 per cent of all urban physicians in this country had converted from allopathy to homeopathy..... Cancer research may be proceeding so slowly principally because traditional research is so heavily involved with the pathogenesis and etiology of cancers. Homeopathic remedies are prescribed based on the symptoms being experienced by the patient and are therefore not so bound by the expensive high technology required to investigate traditional therapies.
