Synopsis This book is popularized version of Dr Mohan Larbeer’ PhD dissertation entitled, Study of philosophy of Dr B R Ambedkar with special reference to his criticism on religion in relation to the origin and development of Caste and Untouchability to evaluate his liberative principles of Dalits. Most Christians also simply live by the values of birth-based status as if God has had a had in it especially if they happen to belong to the so-called savarna category; such an attitude reduces the Dalits to mere things. This we seldom realise. So the study and philosophical reflections gave much to contribute to the weakening of Christian Theology in India.
