Synopsis This is a study of how the bharatiya janta party has occupied centre stage in India and what the reasons are for the shift in Indian Society, Polity and Economy. The study has three inter linked parts. The first part is the genesis of the sangh parivar and its ideological and political praxis. The second part is an investigation of success of the Parivar to expand its social and political base finally, acts of omission and commission, and Foreign policy of Bjpin Government have been critically analysed.
