Synopsis An English translation of Sahitya Akademi Award-winning Urdu Short Story Collection of 21 stories titled "Pakheru". Most of these stories pay homage to the soil and culture of Pakistan where the author lived before partition. Stories in this anthology strives to fathom the laws of life through the broad spectrum of characters and events drawn with perceptive insights.
