Synopsis India Policy Forum 2007-08 comprises papers and highlights of the discussions from the fourth India Policy Forum (IPF) conference, held on July 17-18, 2007, in New Delhi.  IPF is a joint venture of the Brookings Institution and the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) that aims to examine India’s reforms and economic transition using policy-relevant empirical research.  The sponsoring organizations acknowledge the continuing generous support of Tata Sons, State Bank of India, Citigroup, and HDFC Ltd.
