Synopsis The present book is written as a guide for the candidates who appear in NET/SLET examinations. to be successful for the selection and appointment as lecturer in library and information science and assistant librarian in university libraries. We are very happy in presenting the 3rd revised edition of the book Objective Question in Library and Information Science (Paper-II) according to new syllabus and pattern of NET/ SLET examination. In the book, the whole subject matter is arranged into units in Chapter-2 according to the new syllabus of UGC (NET). In Chapter-I, solved question papers of previous examinations have been provided. Chapter-3 ,4 and 5 are contain matching words with their meaning and some useful abbreviations have also been given.
