Forest ecosystems, which form the terrestrial ecosystem most crucial to the fight again global warming had been death with extensively in the last volume in this four book series on global warming. Here too, forests have been brought under cover, but attention has also been paid to other terrestrial ecosystems, which have perhaps contributed more to green house gas emissions. Grass laids plains and desert feature predominantly among these and emergingly specific ecosystems, like those of industrialised cities and floors have also been discussed. The energy flows and cycles which maintain life in these ecosystems, and their involvement in increased global warming have been thoroughly explored. In addition, steps have been listed and enumerated which on being undertaken can help alleviate global warming consequences. The illustration, diagrams and photographs help foster better understanding, and have been included for this very reason.
