Synopsis Hadith guides us on our attitude towards the humanity. Anyone who undertakes to speak of 'Islam and Humanity' in an age in which, the universal respect for and observance of human rights and fundamental freedoms for all, without distinction as to race, sex, language or religion, has been highlighted by the charter of the United Nations.  There is a fundamental difference in the perspectives from which Islam and the west each view the matter of human rights. The western perspective may by and large be called anthropocentric in the sense that man is regarded as constituting the measures of everything since he is the starting point of all thinking and action. The perspective of Islam on the other hand is Theocentric-God conscious. The present work covers all the aspects very systematically and orderly in a simple and effective style for all those who are concerned with philosophy and theology, and particularly Islamic studies.
