It means the instruction and sayings of the holy Prophet Muhammad. Also, the practices, he exercised in his life and asked other to do the same. Hadith tell us that Islam sees life in totality. Islamic manners and customers are not conscious. They are derived from the two main sources of Islam, namely, the Quran and the Sunnah, the Prophet's deeds, words and indirect commandments, and are therefore, in the strictest sense, divinely inspired. The divine inspiration of manners in Islam confers on them a religious character which motivates proper adherence. It does not follow from their religious character that every details of these manner is obligatory. The present work covers all the aspects very systematically and orderly in a simple and effective style for all those who are concerned with philosophy and theology, and particularly Islamic studies.
