Synopsis In the present work, an attempt has been made to analyze briefly some of the labour law like the Minimum Wages Act, the Maternity Benefit Act, the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, National Rural Employment Guarantee Act etc. The purpose of the work is to enlighten and acquaint the students, Government officials, labour inspectors and common men with the provisions of labour acts.
