Synopsis Farmer's guide lists the pest profiles of the diagnosis, nature and extent of damage and management of various insect pests of important vegetable crops and to initiate timely and better management to save their produce, increase yields and to fetch good remuneration from their produce. Make the farming communities aware to about the identification and augmentation of natural enemies fauna to control insect pests in vegetable eco-system. Wherever required, black and white line drawings and color images (more than 300 photographs) have been portrayed for easy and accurate identification for better management decision. New chemicals/molecules, their safe waiting periods, sources of availability of IPM products, acquaint about he pest incidence methods and their nature of damage, data recording and proper record keeping have also been explained to help farmers to build up strong and sound pest management knowledge.
