Synopsis In recent times, the growth of the world economy has challenged the limits of economic, social and ecological sustainability, at the same time, questioning about food security at the global level. Access to food is still perceived by many as a privilege, rather than a basic human right. Therefore, the global economy makes food security an essential concern.
