Synopsis Critical Response to Indian Poetry in English is a modest attempt to evaluate the various aspects of Indian poetry in English. It is a collection of more than a dozen of scholarly papers presented by various scholars hailing from the different parts of India. It includes critical papers on Rabindranath Tagore, Sri Aurobindo, Sarojini Naidu, Kamla Das, Nissim Ezekiel, Vikram Seth, O.P. Bhatnagar, B.S. Naikar, D.C. Chambial, Niranjan Mohanty, etc. The last two papers deal with secular humanism and diasporal life in Indian poetry in English.
