The book attempts to open new horizons in the area of studies on adolescent girls. The book also further tries to manage on enormously difficult theme by synthesizing together a number of areas and issues confronting girls in a very difficult phase of their age. It is a pioneering attempt to understand social needs of girls and examine them in relation to their psychological needs and problems. The significance of social needs for girls in their formative period can well be understood after going through this work.
