Synopsis The present title A Textbook of Environmental Science has been written for the students beginning a study of environmental. During the last decade, a wealth of literature has been accumulated both on environmental factors, pollution and population ecology. The pathways for the degradation and recycling of major classes of biogeochemical are fairly known because of changing techniques and technology. In view of these changing patterns in environmental sciences, the present project has been aimed to provide the students the opportunity to gain the basic understanding of environmental science.
