Synopsis The book entitled "Plant Physiology and Biochemistry" is a standard book and embodies a fairly comprehensive treatment of the fundamental of the subject. This book will serve as a standard book for B.Sc. students of three years degree course of Indian Universities. The syllabus recommended by Indian University Grants Commission has been kept in view during the preparation of the book. Though the book is intended for the undergraduate students of botany, yet the students of higher classes and those who are preparing for various competitive examinations of All India level, can derive maximum benefit from this. The text has been written in simple language and profusely illustrated with self-explanatory diagrams and photographs. The figures are provided with detailed legends. Some of the diagrams have been drawn by author himself and most of the diagrams have been quoted from the authentic works of different authors.
