Synopsis Political ideas of the Hindus evolved through the ages. They were established as a result of observation, study and experiment. Its strength rests upon the ideas of unity of man, the unity of thought and unity of spiritual experience. India flourished when these ideas were well expressed, and degenerated when they were forgotten or submerged. India shows a resurgence of strength today and that strength will be measured by the degree to which she can succeed in putting these principles into practice, adapting them to the special condition of the 21 century.
