Synopsis Growth with equity demands concurrent attention to social, economic, ecological and gender dimension. Inspite of feminization of agriculture in developing countries, technology transfer to women specific occupation have received scant attention. Women farmers receive less extension services worldwide. The priorities of the women farmers are rarely reflected in agriculture research policies and when they are, this is often not translated into practice in agricultural development planning. An attempt is made in the book to asses the awareness, knowledge and adoption level of critical technologies among the participants and non-participant of TANWA program in wet, dry and hill areas, to identify the constraints faced by the TANWA beneficiaries and suggest measures to overcome them thereby making farm women technologically empowered.
