Synopsis An anthology of critical essays on new literary representations from the Global South, this book seeks to reorient the ideological, disciplinary, aesthetic and pedagogical thrusts of postcolonial studies in accordance with the new and shifting politico-economic realities and transactions between the North-South, as well as within the Global South, in an era of globalization. It attempts to evolve conceptual paradigms for a meaningful engagement with issues pertaining to the study of post-colonialism in view of the complex shifts attendant on globalisation.
