Synopsis FAO estimates that two-third of all work is performed by women who constitute half the population but only share one-tenth of the income and one hundredth of the property. Since 1970 there has been a global concern for emancipation of women in general and farm women in particular. The particular book is aimed at identifying the training needs of women in agriculture; to measure the existing level of knowledge and skill of farm women in agriculture regarding selected practices; to assess the effect of training methods; to isolate the crucial factors affecting knowledge and skill acquisition through different training methods. Based on empirical research findings and profusely supported by data, the present book will prove useful for students, researchers and academics besides policy planners and women activists etc.
