Synopsis API Part-I, I to V-Volumes is a collection of plant origin single drug monographs (the standards for identity, purity and strength) used in Ayurvedic formulations. The monographs are prepared by Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeial Committee in accordance with the Drugs and Cosmetics act 1940 subsequently amended in 1964 and 1982 and published by Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
