Synopsis This book is a direct outcome of the U.G.C. sponsored fourteenth refresher course in economics held under the auspices of the Academic Staff College and conducted by the University Department of Economics, B.R.A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur during November 26th to December 16th, 1996. The book contains valuable contributions of both the resource persons as well as the teacher participants of various Indian Universities on the theme "The emerging challenges of economic liberalisation in India."
