Synopsis HIV / AIDS is not only a health problem, there are many social issues inherent with it. The issues are becoming more complex day by day. In the last few decades, main focus was directed towards prevention and community awareness with regard to the transmission of the virus. Today, our task must include the care of the PLWHA; the time is ripe now to address the various needs ranging from health to emotional of these people. They need different supports.

In order to take term care of PLWHA, we have to understand the care and needs of these people. This book is just a step towards understanding the needs and care of PLWHA from their perspective and evolving a wider and comprehensive health care system.
