The course contents of first edition of the book entitled 'Engineering Mechanics' have been planned in such a way that the book covers the complete course of first year of all disciplines of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. The students generally face difficulties in understanding clearly the basic principles, fundamental concepts and theory without adequate solved problems along with the text.
