Synopsis The analytical equipment used in both teaching and research in the biological and medical sciences is becoming increasingly sophisticated. Undergraduate and postgraduate students now encounter a wide variety of instruments. But many students approach the equipments. But many students approach the equipment with a “black box” mentality, using instruments to make measurement, but without understanding the physical and chemical principles involving in the technique. This book presents an introduction to the theory and practice of the technique taken. The purpose of this book is to bridge the gaps which exist between the various text books on theory and the instrument manuals, provided in most cases by the manufacturers.
