Synopsis Propagation and spread of Buddhas' philosophy to various corners of the world is in itself a testimony to the reality that Buddhism was accepted by countries like China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Tibet etc. and America, England and some European countries. It’s religious and moral message imparted peace and solace to the materialistic western world. Buddhas’ message of peace, humanity, patience, non-violence, universal brotherhood, secularism, compassion, social justice and equality, consideration and sympathy to all beings in this universe, proved as beacon-light for the strife-torn and psychologically ravaged western world. Only Buddhas' teachings and practices could provide succour to their disturbed minds. The author has highlighted and explained the factors which were responsible to rejuvenate and inculcate a renewed religious and spiritual vigour in the mentally disturbed multitude. Buddhas' message is more relevant and useful today when the restive world is sitting on the volcano of another world war and in such a charged atmosphere Buddhas' universal message of love, tolerance, patience and compassion can yield an era of peace and universal brotherhood.
