Synopsis The sole objective of this book, ‘Muslim Feminism and Feminist Movement in South-east Asia’—Malaysia, Mauritius, Indonesia and Philippines, is to provide a comprehensive analytical study of the nature and motivation of feminism and feminist movement in Islamic perspective. Here, we are presenting few important articles of eminent scholars written on the concept of Muslim feminism and feminist movement in South-east Asia. All these articles basically deal with a general patterns of feminist movement and its impact on the socio-political and legal reforms in family law and the status of South-east Asian Muslim women.
