Synopsis This book is based on the latest study of the six most energy/emissions-intensive sectors of India, undertaken by CSE's elite Green Rating Project team, to determine India's low carbon growth options. The sectors covered were: Power, Steel, Aluminium, Cement, Fertilizer and Paper & Pulp. These six sectors were covered as they accounted for an estimated 61.5% of total greenhouse gas emissions in India, excluding emissions from agriculture and waste. Their energy profile is no less intensive.
