Synopsis This Book focuses on the commemoration of the pioneering missionary endeavors of William Carey, father of modern missions', and the relevance of 'local congregations' in modern missions. It also presents a critical appraisal of the issues raised and discussed at the epoch-making Missionary Conference held at Edinburgh in 1910 and 2010. It is significant that NCCI has resolved to commemorate the 250th birth anniversary of William Carey and to keep record of its musings during the commemorations.
