The book is intended for undergraduate level course in chemical reaction engineering. Keeping in view the syllabus of most of universities, only the design of isothermal reactors has been discussed. Numbers of solved examples are incorporated at the end of each chapter. The questions are taken from various universities and professional bodies like Institution of Engineers (India) and Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers. At the end of the book, some objective type questions from 'GATE' examination are added with solutions.

Efforts have been taken to place the necessary theory in a brief and to-the-point manner. The book in its present form has been designed to serve as a handbook in the subject, which will be helpful for all types of written tests and interviews.
