Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India, organised an International Conference on Environmental Management during October 2010, with a local theme: Climate Change—Vulnerability and Adaptation. A cross section of researchers, engineers, technocrats, policy makers and regulatory agents from all over India and also from different other countries of the world participated in the event and presented their research papers, lead lectures and keynote addresses. This publication (in two vols.)—a pre-Conference proceedings, incorporates the full and illustrated text of a total of 137 scientific papers, classified under 5 thematic headings: Vulnerability Analysis: Tools and Technologies; Impact and Vulnerability; Influence on Water Resources; Mitigation Technologies; and Policies and regulations to Mitigate Climate Change.
