During the interview, questions on farmer’s personal views and wishes were noted and the farmer’s personal experiences with the dept. people were also noted. The connection of data from the irrigation department was done by distributing the questionnaires containing field conditions and field operations, to various officials at different levels. Office data in the form of discharge data, structural condition records and other relevant data were also collected. The questionnaire to the officials of the agricultural dept. was administered through personal interview to the asst. agricultural director.
