Sanskrit literature is one of the richest literatures of the world. Ancient Indian culture and tradition have been well reflected in Sanskrit literature, which have relevance even in the present day society.

This work is a collection of seventeen papers written by the same author. The subject matter of these papers can be classified into three categories. While one category of papers deals with works like Meghaduta, kadambari Naisadhacarita etc., another category throws light on the social condition and culture of ancient India. Rest of the papers speak about architecture and performing arts practiced in ancient India.

This book is humble endeavour to introduce the young students and researchers of Sanskrit literature as well as the persons interested to know about Indian culture and tradition to the richness and greatness of Sanskrit literature.
