India is an agricultural country and cattle form the back bone of Indian agriculture. It was for this reason that the Royal Commission on Agriculture in India recommended to ox to be the type animal for anatomical studies.

The main aim of this book to provide the students of veterinary courses a proper guide for dissection and study of the anatomy of the Ox. The book contains only dissections of regions of surgical or physiological importance.
