My purpose is in fact no more than to provide women with the elementary knowledge that will enable them not only to go about solving their own beauty problems in the right way but also to judge sanely between the various products and systems offered on the market today. More than that I have sought to show that real and lasting beauty can spring only from true health of body and mind and that such beauty is not simply the result of superficialities. Beauty is womans birthright and if she casts away carelessly or fails to make the most of her natural endowments she offends not only against herself but against nature.
