The chapters in this book are presented under two parts. Part one gives an overview of the development and challenges of Indian dairying, consequences of cross-breeding programme and SWOT analysis of dairy development. Part two comprises of three chapters dealing with management issues related to human resources development in dairying, success and failures of co-operative milk marketing system and economics of dairy development and extension.
