An attempt is made in these volumes to examine the different facets of the health care provided by the Primary Health Centres (PHC). Authors from diverse backgrounds such as social medicine, medical anthropology, health policy administration, sociology, social work, geography, economics and demography bring critical perspectives from their respective specializations.
