The articles in the volume examine diverse issues relating to macro enterprises in India, particularly referring to the scenario in the state of West Bengal. Based on seminar presentations, they provide an analysis of micro, small and medium enterprises in India. They deal with the growth of micro-enterprise in India and its contribution to rural development and poverty alleviation.
