The theoretical aspects of the scientific evidence and some issues based on it are discussed elaborately in this work. The judicial standards evolved in different courts on jurisdiction for proper evaluation of scientific evidence in India and abroad are thoroughly dealt with. A separate chapter relating to such judicial standards evolved in different jurisdictions has been made. How the different standards of admissibility and reliability can properly be applied in some major forensic scientific issues seeking admissibility have been highlighted in different chapters.
