They have been studying such environmental issues at regional level from decades. Such issues are more-s-ever permanent in nature and people have in a way adjusted to such a situation. The local environmental issues are closely associated to problems of the pollution, waste disposal etc. Due to nature of these problems, the spatial impact is limited. Since last one decade these issues have become important geographers have made valuable contribution in understanding the spatial impact of these problems.
