The present book viz. The Socio-political life of India in the age of the Puranas contains an introduction to the Puranas which is followed by nine main chapters containing different aspects of the socio-political life of India.

The book is completed with Concluding Remarks and a bibliography. The chapter is followed by concluding remarks on the subject of the present study.
