The present book aimed to review psychological factors, including depression, anxiety and stress related to etiology and prognosis of cardiovascular diseases. The analysis of studies indicated that higher levels of anxiety, stress, depression, anger, high level of achievement, competitiveness and low social support are associated with greater likelyhood of the cardiovascular diseases.
