Based on seminar presentations, the volume focuses on the emerging trends, growth and challenges in infrastructure in India particularly some of the major sectors like the transport sector, the energy and the social sector. Viewing infrastructure as the basic physical and social structure enable entrepreneurs to undertake their productive activities, it deals with India’s infrastructure-related bottlenecks from the beginning of the planning period relating to coverage, ownership, financing, pricing and management of infrastructural projects and services.
