Synopsis

This compendium of 18 papers attempts to examine the different aspects of sports psychology in India. Based on the summaries of the researches undertaken in the Punjabi University, Patiala, it discusses at length the disjunctive reaction time of the top level Indian sportsmen in relation to their extraversion, neuroticism and comparative anxiety.
